Optima Steel Intl: Metal and Aluminum Project Rescue

Optima Steel Intl restarted a $1.8 million stalled project with our team and reached go-live 16 months later.

Optima Steel Intl spent $1.8 million and 18 months with PurePurpose and Armanino before stopping a planned go-live. Its steel and aluminum operation delivered directly to customers rather than owning or warehousing inventory. The earlier project faced disconnected supply-chain processes, material requirements planning (MRP) and pricing challenges, and labor-intensive subcontracting and outside work.

Ba Tran also reported inaccurate executive BI data and broken reporting, custom pricing that did not properly reflect market fluctuations, insufficient operational training, incomplete project documentation, and unfinished SKG and Treasury Automation work with BMO.
