Metal Manufacturer/Distributor: Project Rescue

the metal manufacturer/distributor restarted a $1.8 million stalled project with our team and reached go-live 16 months later.

The metal manufacturer/distributor spent $1.8 million and 18 months with previous implementation partners before stopping a planned go-live. Its steel and aluminum operation delivered directly to customers rather than owning or warehousing inventory. The earlier project faced disconnected supply-chain processes, material requirements planning (MRP) and pricing challenges, and labor-intensive subcontracting and outside work.

The project also had inaccurate executive BI data and broken reporting, custom pricing that did not properly reflect market fluctuations, insufficient operational training, incomplete project documentation, and unfinished treasury automation work.
